She met him when she started baby-sitting his kids. He was also married at the time. She just knew that they would be good together. He and his wife soon split after finding out about the affair. The kids stayed with him, but it was hard. The kids did not like being around her because they blamed her for their parents breakup. They moved in with their mom later on due to comfort. Her boyfriend was now drinking and taking drugs and this was when the abuse started. Soon she began to do drugs also because she blamed herself for the abuse. After the kids left she found out she was pregnant. She stopped the drugs and decided to get her life back. She begged him to stop too, but he could not stay drug free for more than three days. Years later she had two more kids. She left him many times and each time she went back because he said he would change. One day she got fed up and moved out. She found a new job and new place to live. Soon her happiness would end when her ex found out where she was living. He took their breakup really hard and one morning decided to do something about it. Early one morning he broke into her bedroom window. She heard it and ran, but not fast enough. He pulled out a gun and shot her three times then shot himself. All this took place in front of their three year old daughter. The children will forever have the image of their parents violent deaths. This woman was not a survivor of domestic violence.
