Hellish Culture

 

Welcome to Hell, or at least the westernized version. This is the Christian idea of hell. It is named just that. It is composed from the theories of Augustine, the influential fourth-century bishop of Hippo in North Africa paired with those from the Italian Dante Alighieri who wrote The Divine Comedy. Here you can find “the bodies of the damned” bathing in hellfire, and ever-lasting place of damnation. The torture is eternal in “a lake of fire and brimstone.”
