 Soon David’s old shoes’d be nothing but ash

We pulled up to the store with glee in our hearts
 We’d turn this new boat into one work of art

While perusing the aisles, not sure what to get,

A large toothy grin, a cheer of delight…
 Here’s a propellant our boat would not fight!

We bought it at once and a turkey tin too;
