Chapter 4
“Ok, game plan” Jake started off. Oh, please let me just hit this couch, I thought. Let me get some sleep… “Alright, what are we doing tonight?” I asked. “Dinner party” came the reply. A quizzical look from me forced Jake to keep going. “With Megan, and her roommate Alexandra.” “Megan, the OTHER girl you’re trying to get with?” “Well, yeah, but more importantly, it won’t be last night. No paying for drinks at bars hoping to take someone home.” “You’re joking, right? You’re putting me on a blind date?” “What, you don’t think I know what you like?” “Fine, fine” I put an abrupt end to the conversation. I took out my sketch pad. Then I slept.
