Welcome to the famous New England Aquarium!

At the aquarium we saw a large variety of fish, turtles, penguins, puffins, seals, sea lions, and otters. At feeding time for the penguins, the workers came out in wet suits with buckets of raw fish to feed to the animals. I also had the chance to see tiny sea horses up close and personal.

The center of the aquarium is a huge tank that reaches from the bottom of the building to the top of the roof. In it one will find huge turtles, large fish, and, yes, even a shark. Scuba divers were swimming around in the tank testing the waters and feeding. We also went out onto a huge boat and saw a sea lion show with tricks and behavior techniques. We learned that sea lions have ear flaps making them distinguishable from otters and seals.
