Start by breaking your name into many syllables.

For instances, if your name is Chipper, you do this: Chi･pa, or チッパ.

If you look at that last name there is a small one of these ツ.

This is done when there are two of a constanent in names. (or any foreign words)

This small tsu "ツ" makes a slightly halting sound in speeches.

Now let us all say your name was Shanaynay. Sha･ne･ne, or シャネネ.

There is something also strange about this one. It is the small "ヤ".

If you a put shi (シ) in front and after it you put a small ヤ、ユ、or ヨ you can then make thes sounds:

　　　　シャ: Sha

　　　　シュ: Shu

　　　　ショ: Sho

You can do this combonation with the "Ys" most any time. Be creativity!
